Just so cool - I want to run away to MIT -The Never-Ending Drawing Machine

"The Never-Ending Drawing Machine produced by David Robert & colleagues at MIT Media Lab is a collaborative creativity station that enables users to co-create and edit each other's tangible, paper sketchbooks in real-time.

The Never-Ending Drawing Machine's application is built in TouchDesigner, a visual programming environment made by Derivative. The software provides the framework for integrating various subsystems together.

TouchDesigner is available free of cost for non-commercial use and can be downloaded at derivative.ca"

fascinating - presentation briefs from Mekanism: Storytelling for Emergent Media posted | Fast Company

When Mekanism presented their first round of ideas to Fast Company, they produced a book to house them in (here we have a digital rendering of the pages). It is a nice touch and a focused reference to the fact that Fast Company as an enterprise is anchored by a print magazine that is supported and enhanced by a web property, an infinite loop of media interaction. The second document is a more refined approach on the ideas Fast Company chose to pursue further and eventually loose on the world through a viral campaign. Obviously, going through the text in your mind is not the same as the live dramatic reads—from multiple Mekanism creatives—we experienced. Still the voice of Mekanism, as they endeavor to channel Fast Company, leaves a clear imprint on the experiment we eventually chose to puruse.

Instant Oil Spill - brilliant - create an OIL SPILL on any website

That's right, now you can have all the same disregard for the environment (albeit virtual) that big oil does everyday! Why should they get to have all the fun?

Simply enter the web address of the site you'd like to contaminate and watch the spill happen.

Note: This doesn't really harm other websites. We're not complete a**holes! ;)
